Transport
The principal point of access to the site will be from Leyland Road, via a new access road. Factory Lane will remain open for access to the sports club and a small part of the development.
An internal distributor road will serve the development, and will be constructed to allow a bus service to run through the site. Individual housing areas will be served by a series of loop roads and cul-de-sacs.
The development will incorporate a network of footpaths and cycleways, linking the business, housing and recreational areas of the site together and enabling access to the reservoir and nature reserve.
